Fancy seeing you here!
Well, to kick things off, no two gigs or performances are the same. Flexibility is the name of the game. If you're thinking that acoustic music might be right for your event, then it likely is! Whether it's cruisey background music, or upbeat songs that fill a dance floor, having an acoustic musician at a function rarely misses the mark. The best way to determine exactly what style / amount of music is right for your event is to liaise via email, or even a quick zoom chat so we can get "properly" acquainted.
You may also fancy checking out one of my public gigs in the area for closer inspection of what I do! I'm more than happy to provide details of all my public gigs upon request.

A smattering on weddings...
Once again, every wedding is different, and there is so much involved, that the musical element can be a little daunting, when you finally come to look at it. Music has tended to be an overlooked afterthought when it comes to weddings, but bear in mind; people will always remember boogying the night away to good music rather than what they ate or if they managed to sneak into a photo!
To date, I've provided music for over 450 weddings and counting, giving me lots of experience in making your day the most uncomplicated exercise when it comes to music. I happily safeguard against all the little things or unforeseen/s that can fall by the wayside - such as always having spare PA equipment / mics on hand, should the celebrant not have one / a working one (trust me, this happens A LOT) - to ensure that the day is as organised and stress-free as possible.
I provide music for the three main elements of the wedding day - ceremony, canapés and reception. Sometimes I perform for just one of these, sometimes two, and sometimes all three. If you book me for the full day's proceedings (including the entirety of the reception), I typically conclude the final portion of the reception DJ'ing, making it a bit of a 'one-stop-shop' option, and one less vendor you'll have to liaise with. Ultimately, the day is yours, and there is no right or wrong amount of acoustic entertainment; and, most importantly, no such thing as a silly question!
Another feature of my wedding services is that I offer to learn and perform any two songs (as long as they're within the realms of realistic) of your choosing for walking down the aisle / first dance as husband and wife / father & daughter dances, etc. Walking down the aisle to an acoustic song of your own selection is always a winner. Intimate, and personal. Further, should you desire additional songs to be learnt, this can be catered for also, for an extra fee.
I additionally perform in a duos with female vocalist Cailah (you can check us out if you navigate to the 'MUSIC' tab, as well as another fabulous female dynamo Brooke, male vocalist from 'The Voice', Scott Newnham, and also a male cajon percussionist who accompanies with vocal harmonies. These are a touch more expensive, but fantastic if you want that little bit extra to keep your dance floor ticking over.
