Well, to kick things off - no two gigs or performances are the same. Flexibility is the name of the game. If you're thinking that acoustic music might be right for your event, then it likely is! Whether it's cruisey background music, or upbeat bangers that fill a dance floor, having an acoustic musician at a function rarely misses the mark. The best way to determine exactly what style / amount of music is right for your event is to liaise via email, or even a quick zoom chat so we can get "properly" acquainted.

A smattering on weddings...

​

There's more than one way to skin cat. Every wedding is different, and whether it be a summery seaside soiree, a wholesome Bohemian beanfeast, or a suave inner-city junket, I'm here to curate the perfect vibe for your tribe!

 

Music can tend to be an overlooked afterthought when it comes to weddings, but bear in mind; people always tend to remember boogying the night away to great music, rather than what they ate or if they managed to sneak into a photo! It is equally as important as any other component of your day; nothing captivates your nearest and dearest like that intimate, personal moment of a live rendition of your processional as you glide down the aisle, or the energy of a heaving DJ or acoustic-roused dance floor as the sun retreats and the high heels go flying! It's a party after all - it's your time to send it!

 

To date, I've provided music for over 400 weddings and counting, giving me lots of experience in making your day the most uncomplicated exercise regarding music. I happily safeguard against all the little things or unforeseen/s that can fall by the wayside - such as always having spare PA equipment / wireless mics on hand, should the celebrant or venue not have one / a working one (trust me, this happens A LOT) - to ensure that the day is as organised and stress-free as possible. 

​

I provide music for the three main elements of the wedding day - ceremony, canapés and reception. Sometimes I perform for just one of these, sometimes two, and sometimes all three. If you book me for the full day's proceedings (including the entirety of the reception), I typically conclude the final portion of the reception DJ'ing, making it a bit of a 'one-stop-shop' option, and one less vendor you'll have to liaise with. Ultimately, the day is yours, and there is no right or wrong amount of acoustic entertainment; and, most importantly - no such thing as a silly question!

Another feature of my wedding services is that I offer to learn and perform any song (as long as it's within the realms of realistic) of your choosing for your processional, as well as having a comprehensive list of tailored tunes to choose from, should you also desire that I perform your first dance acoustically (again, this can be provided upon individual request). Moreover, should you desire additional songs to be learnt, this can be catered for also, for an extra fee.

​

I additionally perform in a duo with female vocalist Cailah (you can check us out if you navigate to the 'MUSIC' tab, as well as another fabulous female dynamo Brooke, and last but certainly not least, male vocalist from 'The Voice', Scott Newnham.
